Mark Weber Obituary, Death – On Sunday, November 27, 2022, in Rapid City, South Dakota, Mark D. Weber, 70, passed away. Clem and Joan Weber welcomed Mark into the world on February 1, 1952, in Tyler, Minnesota. He completed his education at Sioux Falls’ Washington High School after attending schools in Rapid City. aboard June 6, 1992, Mark and Dar got married in front of their loved ones aboard pontoon boats on a gorgeous Pactola day.
For the most part of his career, Mark was proud to serve as the Teamsters Local 749 Business Agent. Mark worked for Roadway, Nielsen Construction, and the Rapid City Solid Waste Division before retiring. Mark loved life to the fullest. Great memories were created by his love of Corvettes and the many trips he took them on with close friends. He was a huge fan of hot rods. Mark possessed a variety of boats, including speed boats and pontoons for entertaining family and friends.
He took great pride in his ability to water ski on Christmas Day. For Mark, interacting with friends and family was always crucial. It was impossible for Mark to enter a store without seeing someone he knew. She could always tell when Dar was with him because of his contagious chuckle. All of his family will always remember his passion for peanut butter on almost everything he ate. With time spent with his niece Cali and her daughters Harper and Kinsley, Mark’s final days were full with joy and laughter. Jeremy Hurd, his son; Laurie Hurd, his stepdaughter; Brett (Amy) Hurd and Logan Svihovec, his grandsons; Caden Hurd, his great-grandson; brother Keven Weber; and sister Julie Weber are among his survivors. Mark had great affection for numerous other family members as well.
